Vital Winter Games January 14th


The 2022 Season is kicking off and we're ready to host you at the Vital Summer Games!  
The Winter & Summer games were hit events and we're looking to expand off that success. We're ready to up our game and give you an event that you will not forget!



General EVENT Information

This is a team of 2 (MM - FF or Co-Ed) competition. This is a chance for you and your best WOD mate to throw down and have a BUNCH of fun

TEAMS of 2 (Max 12 teams per Division)
Scaled: MM/FF
Intermediate: MM/FF
Co-Ed Intermediate: M/F
Co-Ed Rx: M/F

Which division is right for me?

This is the most important question to think about when signing up for a competition. Often competitions do not release the actual workouts until the week or two leading up to the competition. If this is the case, then they will publish a list of movement standards to decipher whether you should be in the RX or Scaled division. Most of the times these movement standards look very similar to the CrossFit Open meaning the RX division should be able to perform things like Chest to Bar Pull-Ups, Toes To Bar, Handstand Push-Ups, Double Unders, and meet all other normal standards (i.e., 20/14 Wallball to target, 24/20 Box Jump, etc.) The Scaled division would likely then be these movements, little sister. For example, Chest to Bar becoming Jumping Chest to Bar, HSPU's become regular push-ups or DB Push Press, Double Unders become Singles, and so forth. If after evaluating the movement standards, if you can do at least 90% of them, then I would say go for that division.

    Co-Ed Rx

    EXPERIENCED/ADVANCED COMPETITOR

  • Can move heavier weights consistently

  • Able to complete 3-4 workouts per day
  • Pull-ups, Toes to Bar
  • Chest to Bar Pullups, Ring/Bar MU
  • Rope Climb/Legless Rope Climb to 15'
  • HSPU's, HS Walk, Pistols, Double Unders
  • Wall Balls (20/14) to a 10/9 foot target
  • Box Jump (30/24)
  • Power Snatch/Snatch 185/125
  • Power Clean/Clean to OH 225/155
  • Deadlift 315/205
  • Thruster/Shoulder to OH 185/125
  • OH Squat 185/125
  • Athletes may be asked to find a max lift

Scaled

BEGINNER TO EXPERIENCED COMPETITOR

  • Burpee Over Bar
  • Box Jumps/Step Ups (24/20)
  • Wall Balls (14/10) to a 10/9 foot target
  • Single Unders
  • Walking Lunges
  • Picking up/Carrying objects
  • KB Swings (53/35)
  • Power Snatch/Snatch 95/65
  • Power Clean/Clean to OH 115/85
  • Deadlift 155/105
  • Thruster/Shoulder to OH 85/55
  • OH Squat 95/65
  • Athletes may be asked to find a max lift

    Intermediate 

    EXPERIENCED COMPETITOR

  • Does all Open workouts Rx

  • Can perform all basic CrossFit movements
  • Able to complete 3-4 workouts in 1 day
  • Pull-ups, Toes to Bar
  • Chest to Bar Pull-ups
  • Rope Climb 15'
  • Double Unders
  • Power Snatch/Snatch 115/85
  • Power Clean/Clean to OH 135/95
  • Deadlift 225/155
  • Thruster/Shoulder to OH 115/85

  • Athletes may be asked to find a max lift

Co-Ed Intermediate Team

M/F team

No more than 1 of the athletes should be a true Rx athlete.

IE. Intermediate Male/Rx Female - Rx Male/Scaled Female - Intermediate Male/Intermediate Female
